Method Of Stored Grain Pest Control In Rural Areas

In order to understand rural storage situation accurately and improve the consciousness of food security deposit, the author go on the investigation of stored grain in rural areas in Dazu, Rongchang, Rongchuan and Twinbridge counties of Chongqing from January to march in 2011. The content mainly includes the quantity of farmer storage, the loss of farmer storage and the technology of farmer storage. The results of the investigation show that the quantity of stored grain in rural in our country is large. But the storage condition is poor, the protective measures are few and the prevention of technology is backward in most countries, the losses of stored grain in rural areas are extremely serious and the situation is not optimistic. The losses of insect pests, harmful rats, moulds are most serious, which should be highly attached.In order to prevent storage harmful biological hazards effectively and reduce the losses of Chinese stored grain in rural areas, the dissertation puts forward the feasible solution, which is integrated harmful living beings control of stored grain in rural areas, and makes a deeper study according to the survey and analysis of the reasons for the losses. At last the dissertation summarizes several suitable control methods for rural areas of grain storage. At first choose from new farmer storage, then at the same time of doing well in cleanning the environment health work storage, the traditional storage pest control methods and the modern technology created the disease are combined suitable for rural areas of application and economy, which is simple and safe to keep food quality of scientific method. those are significant in realizing integrated rural safe storage and inreducing the farmer economic losses.
