The influence of temperature on diffusion rate and distribution numbers in different directions of Sitophilus oryzae,Sitophilus zeamais,Tribolium castaneum,Tribolium confusum,Oryzaephilus surinamensis was researched under the condition of different temperature and situations, with wheat or without wheat. The diffusion rate was monitored on surface of solid and wheat bulk. The effect of pheromone / food attractant on stored grain pests was also studied. The movement behavior and distribution of stored grain pests under 20℃、25℃、30℃、35℃ wheat bulk which the temperature was consistent was observed. The effect of high moisture content on stored grain pests in that wheat bulk was studied too.The main results were as follows:Temperature could significantly affect the diffusion rate of stored grain pests under different situations. At 20℃-35℃temperature range, as the temperature increased, the moving speed of stored grain pests increased significantly. No matter with wheat or without wheat, orientation had no significant effect on the movement speed of all insects, but there were differences in the choice of the direction of movement for stored grain pests. When there was no wheat, pheromone could lure Sitophilus oryzae,Tribolium castaneum,Oryzaephilus surinamensis significantly;Pheromone could lure Tribolium castaneum,Tribolium confusum,Oryzaephilus surinamensis significantly with wheat; No matter with wheat or without wheat, food attractant could lure Sitophilus oryzae,Tribolium castaneum,Tribolium confusum,Oryzaephilus surinamensis significantly;there were differences to effect of pheromone / food attractant on stored grain pests in different time. There were differences to distribution of stored grain pests in consistent wheat temperature bulk when wheat temperature was 20 ℃, 25 ℃, 30 ℃, 35 ℃,light had no significant differences to diffusion rate of Tribolium confusum in 30 cm high wheat bulk.High moisture content wheat could significantly affect the distribution of Tribolium castaneum in consistent wheat temperature bulk, but no significant differences for Tribolium confusum,Oryzaephilus surinamensis. When wheat temperature was 20℃,25℃,30℃, 35℃,High moisture content wheat had no significant differences to diffusion rate of Sitophilus oryzae,Sitophilus zeamais,Tribolium confusum,Oryzaephilus surinamensis in 30 cm high wheat bulk. The researches indicated that the temperature could significantly affect movement speed of grain pests on surface of solid and wheat bulk. There were significant differences to effect of food attractant(crushing wheat) on stored grain pests, the attractive effect of pheromone to Oryzaephilus surinamensis was related to testing time.In 30 cm consistent wheat temperature bulk, most grain pests mainly remain in the bottom of the grain heap.Tribolium castaneum remain preferly in the layer of grain which contained high moisture content wheat.
