Biological diversity is the base and the important guarantee of human survival. Stand species diversity is the synthetic embodiment of forest management, reflects the species diversity degree of forest community, embodies the level of forest management and is the important basement of forest sustainable development. Abiding on ecology of forest ecosystem management, the appraise index system of Nan-Ping stand species diversity was built in this paper based on the collective standard plots data in Nan-Ping. The appraise index system included 3 layers: the object layer which embodied the Stand Species Diversity Synthetic Index(SSDSl); the rule layer which included the arbor layer, the shrub layer and the herbage layer; the index layers which included 9 index factors such as arbor richness degree, arbor composing modulus, arbor high modulus, shrub richness degree, shrub composing modulus, shrub high modulus, herbage richness degree, herbage composing modulus, herbage high modulus. The SSDSI was defined based on each index weight which was work out by Fuzzy Analytic Hierachy Process and the 54 standard plots data of Nan-Ping in 2005. The diversity and stability of the main forest styles in Nanping was analyzed based on the analysis of the SSDSI which included the notable analysis, relevance analysis, principal components analysis, and the leading infection factor analysis of diversity. The main results in this thesis including:①There were obviously difference in SSDSI and the result indicated that the SDSI of the mixed forest (1.7325)> the broadleaf (1.428)> the bamboo (1.1039)>the arbor (1.087).②The relativity between stand species diversity and the grass richness index is the max. then the richness index of the shrub and the arbor. The relativity between the shrub constitute index and the grass richness, the grass constitute index, the grass highness was negative. The shrub species was lower but higher in the grass. The high of the shrub restrained the growing of grass obviously. The influence of the arbor on the grass is less evident than the influence of the shrub on the grass. The main factors that influenced the stand species diversity were the basal area /hm2 and the density/hm2.③The stability of the stand species diversity in Nanping was the mixed forest> the broadleaf> the bamboo> the conifer by the notable analysis, relevance analysis and principal components analysis.
