The occurrence of forest disaster could destroy the forest eco-environment. Recently, with theaggravation of forest disaster, effects limit multiple functions of forest seriously. While disaster lossevaluation is most important part of disaster management.Forest disasters mainly include forest fire, forest rain-snow and freeze, forest man-made disasterand forest diseases and insect pests. In this paper, forest disasters are divided into forest non-biologicaldisaster and forest biological disaster.On this basis, forest disaster losses are further divided intoeconomic loss and non-economic loss, and economic loss includes direct economic loss and indirecteconomic loss,while the non-economic loss include eco-value loss and social service value loss. Thus,the losses index systems are built. Then study on the loss evaluation of the growing stock loss of timberforest and the non-economic loss of ecological forest.In timber forest economic loss evaluation,before, the loss evaluation is chosen, the non-biologicaldisaster and biological disaster must first be distinguished,and then,baised on this, timber age groupshould be distinguished. The Grey correlation is used to improve market value method.Resules showthat, market value method based on Grey correlation can be used into matter non-biological disaster orbiological disaster Theoretically.The Determining of the reduction value and the loss coefficient of cost value of growing stock oftimer forest is the key to the question of indirect economic loss evaluation. This paper distinguishsdifferent forest disasters and different timber age group has appropriate loss evaluation of thereduction value. the loss coefficient of different forest disasters is determined. Furthermore, the fuzzycomprehensive evaluation can be used to determine the loss coefficient of cost value of single growingstock..Ecological forest is an important part of modern green forestry, among the loss of forestdisaster,besides economic loss,the more important loss is the non-economic loss,and the evaluation ofthe non-economic loss in ecological forest has two expressing ways. One is qualitatively explained, theother is concrete method.Study shows that the loss of climate regulation and biodiversity can be moreused to the qualitatively explained. While the method of replacement price is used to evaluate the loss ofwater regulation, protection function and carbon fixation and oxygen production, and the method ofcontingent valuation is used to appraise the loss of environment protection, forest landscape function,and cultural education.
