Objective:To investigate the expressions and their clinical significance of vascular endothelial growth factor C(VEGF-C)and extra cellular matrix (ECM) components in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods:Expressions of VEGF-C and ECM components (fibronectin,FN and collagenⅣ,cIV) in 120 cases of NSCLC tissues and 120 cases of normal lung tissues and 120 cases of Carcinoma beside the organization were detected by immunohistological analysis.(cancer tissue adjacent from corresponding beside, is apart from the tumor lesion tumor edge greater than 2 cm, from normal lung tissue from the tumor edge 5cm above, both the postoperative pathologic open biopsy are normal lung tissue) Their relationship with clinical features of NSCLC and the correlation of exp ression of VEGF-C and Fn and cⅣwere analyzed. Results:The positive exp ression rates of VEGF-C,Fn,and cⅣwere95.8%,78.3%,and 50%in NSCLC tissues. The exp ressions of VEGF-C and Fn and cIV were significantly higher than those in normal lung tissues and Carcinoma beside the organization (P< 0.05).Fn expression and VEGF-C strong positive expression and patients lymph node metastasis are concerned.VEGF-C positive expression and positively correlated with Fn expression (r0.757, P< 0.001), VEGF-C positive expression and positively correlated cIV expression (r= 0.651, P< 0.001),VEGF-C positive and Fn positive and the prognosis of patients with NSCLC positive correlation, (P<0.01). Conclusion:VEGF-C strong positive expression and Fn expression and NSCLC patients lymph node metastasis relevant, Both in NSCLC transfer has collaborative promoting effect, affect prognosis, Fn can be used as a new targeted therapy targets.
