| Objectives: 1. To observe the clinical efficacy of Jia wei shou tai pills on patients suffering from uterine bleeding due to luteal phase deficiency, and try to probe its mechanism. 2. To confer the efficacy of Jia wei shou tai Pills in the treatment of advanced menstruation due to luteal phase deficiency. Methodology: 60 patients of disfunctional uterine bleeding due to luteal phase deficiency were randomly divided into two groups, Jia wei shou tai Pills group, controlled by Medroxy Progesterone Acetate Group. Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom scor, Kidney symptoms, primary body temperature, serum P, LH changes were compared with two groups. Results: the overall effective ratio of the treatment and controlled group are respectively 90% and 70%, which is significantly different (P<0.05). Treatment group presented a better efficacy compared with controlled group. Meanwhile, significant difference can be presented in Menstrual cycle between two group (P<0.01), but no significant can be presented changes after treatment(P>0.05). improvement of BBT and the laster days (P<0.01),changes of P of which indicate the better outcome of two group compared with untreatment group. changes of LH of which indicate the better outcome of Treatment group(P<0.01), but no significant can be presented changes in controlled group (P>0.05), significant difference can be presented after treatment. Conlusion: Jia wei shou tai Pills can effectively adjust the clinical symptoms of dysfunctional uterine bleeding due to luteal phase deficiency, improve the primary body temperature and regulate hormone, which can be proved to be a effective treatment approach for the dysfunctional uterine bleeding due to luteal phase deficiency. |
