Objective:To observe and evaluate the clinical curative effect of auricular-plaster therapy and body acupuncture on immediate analgesic effect and relieving symptoms of primary dysmenorrheal patients by using visual analogue scale(VAS) and dysmenorrheal symptoms rating scale as observation indexes. To seek a new simple and effective therapeutic method for clinical, and to further explore theory of the mechanism of auricular-plaster therapy and body acupuncture on primary dysmenorrheal.Method:By the way of random and trial,60 dysmenorrheal patients were randomly assigned into two groups.30 patients received auricular-plaster therapy as experimental group and another group in which 30 patients accepted body acupuncture as control group. Experimental group takes internal genitals, endocrine, liver, kidney, subcortex, Shenmen, and sympathy. Control group takes Guanyuan, ti chi, and Sanyinjiao. Before and after the first treatment VAS pain scores, dysmenorrheal symptoms rating scale scores were observed and evaluated. Furthermore, this paper compares efficiency of treatment with the two groups at the same time.Results:1. There is very significant difference between the scores of the VAS before and after the treatment in the experimental group and control group (P<0.01). There is very significant difference between the scores of VAS before and after the treatment in these two groups (P<0.05).2. There is very significant difference between the scores of the psychological symptoms before and after treatment in the experimental group and control group (P<0.01), and there is no significant difference between the scores of the dysmenorrheal symptoms after treatment in these two groups (P>0.05).3. Compared the efficiency of two groups after treatment, there is no significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusions:1. Both treatment regimes can treat dysmenorrheal symptoms effectively, but the effect of the experimental group is superior to the control group on immediate analgesic effect.2. The experimental group has the same effect with the control group on relieving dysmenorrheal symptoms and comparing efficiency after treatment.
