Clinical Research On Method Of Transport The Heart And Kidney Treating Insomnia With Yinxuhuowang

Background:Insomnia is a common and frequently-occurring disease in the clinic, wihch is characterized by not having enough sleep regularly.Insomnia has already become the second biggest disease in Neurology clinics in the wake of headache. It is said by Chinese Medical Association that about 300 million Chinese adults suffer from somnipathy such as insomnia and sleep too much etc.Therefore, insomnia is a serious disease suffering frompeople,which isnot only a difficult medical problem, but also a social problem.Purpose:In order to find better treatment for insomnia (type of yinxuhuowang) in Chinese medicine,e cureInsomnia using method of transport the heart and kidney and wuling Capsule to observe the clinical effect contrastive and evaluate objetive to the efficacy difference of the two drugs especiallly for the method of transport the heart and kidney.Methods:From Apr 2010 to Mar 2011,collect insomniac (type of Yinxuhuowang) who diagnosed by Mr.Gu Xizhen Director from Neurology clinics of Nanjing University Of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Use RCT according to international criteria of Insomnia diagnose and outcome measures.50 patients with insomnia met the criteria were divided into two groups randomly.Control group:25 patients cured by wuling Capsule; treatment group:25 patients cured by method of transport the heart and kidney. Period of treatment will be 28 days for each group.Observe healing effect before and after treatment accoring to PSQI and Athens.Results:For control group,the total effective rate is 96.67% and effective rate is 76.67% but for treatment group is 86.67% and 43.33%.After doing comparative analysisis for control group and treatment group,we find that it is exist Statistic difference for the improvement of Insomnia (p<0.05) but treatment group have obvious advantage with respect to the improvement of some syndromes such as Insomnia, phlegm and mouth tired(p<0.05). The finalresult shows that: method of transport the heart and kidney have better performance in terms of Clinical symptom improving.
