Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of treatment of which acupuncture combined with massage stimulate meridian sinew nodal points to treat spastic paralysis after stroke. Methods:In this study,60 patients were randomly divided into two groups, including treatment group,30 cases, which were treated by which acupuncture combined with massage needle meridian sinew nodal point, and control group,30 cases, which were treated by conventional acupuncture. Because there was no significant statistical difference between two groups before treatment, the comparability of the two series of patients exists. According to neurological function deficit scores before and after treatment, ability of daily living (ADL), Fugl-Meyer motor function scores and the overall assessment of clinical efficacy, we can get effective indicators. Results:The clinical observation showed that Fugl-Meyer motor scores, ADL scores, clinical neurological deficit scores of the treatment group and control group were higher after treatment than before treatment. Both of groups showed significant differences (P <0.05) among 30 patients before and after treatment. There was no significant difference (P>0.05) between two groups before treatment, and was significant difference (P<0.05) after treatment, which indicated that that acupuncture combined with massage simulate meridian sinew nodal points can effectively improve ability of daily living and motor functions of patients, and reduce degrees of nerve injury. Its total effective rate was 93.33%.Conclusions:That acupuncture combined with massage stimulate meridian sinew nodal points can effectively improve motor functions and ability of daily living of patients who suffer from spastic paralysis after stroke and improve their quality of life. |
