| Objective To study the curative and preventive effects and the mechanism of huohuazengshi(活化增视,HHZS) medicinalgranules on proliferative vitreoretinopathy through establishing experimental animal model of proliferative vitreoretinopathy (P VR).Methods 45 rabbits (45 eyes) were randomly divided into model group joletion tablets groups and HHZS groups. Experimental PVR models were induced by injecting macrophage into vitreous.2 days after establishing models,physiological saline were given to the blank and control group,5mL/kg, Huohua Zengshi medicinalgranules,0.75g/5mL·kg-1,were given to HHZS group, and joletion tablets,10ug/5mL·kg-1,were given to joletion tablets groups,two times one day.Observing the formation and state of PVR with indirect ophthalmoscope every week.Each group randomly excuting 3 animals on 3 7 14 21 28 days. The content of MCP-1 and TGF-β2 from the vitreous and the expression of MCP-1 on retina were determined.Results 1. Compared with model group and joletion tablets group,the content of MCP-1 in HHZS group was decreased significantly in 7 days(P<0.01).2. Compared with model group and joletion tablets group.the content of TGF-β2 in HHZS group was increased in 14 days(P<0.01).3. HHZS group could reduce the expression of MCP-1, Comparing with the control group, there was significant difference(P<0.001)on every stage.Comparing with the joletion tablets group, there was significant difference(P<0.05)on 7 and 14 days.Conclusion 1. Injecting macrophage into vitreous could establish experimental animal model of proliferative vitreoretinopathy(PVR). 2. Huohua Zengshi medicinalgranules could decrease the expression of MCP-1 in vitreous and on retina.3. HHZS medicinalgranules could increase the content of TGF-β2 in vitreous. |
