Purpose: Under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine theory, research the processing and compatibility of Radix aconitum, measure the efficacy and toxicity.Method:1. Using bliss method in order to measure the LD50 values on Radix aconiti, Radix aconiti preparata and the combination drugs"Trichosanthes Fructus"for the purpose of discussing their acute toxicity. 2. Using sodium pentobarbital to make acute heart failure animal model in order to explore Radix aconiti and the compatibility role against heart failure. 3. On long-term toxicity experiments, produce pathological, test the physiological and biochemical indexes in order to analyse and evaluate its basic toxicity.Result:1.Using bliss method, measuring LD50 values in mice by oral administration, obtaining the degree of acute toxicity: Radix Aconiti Preparata combination with Trichosanthes Fructus less than Radix Aconiti Preparata decoction alone less than Radix Aconiti decoction alone less than Radix Aconiti combination with Trichosanthes Fructus.2. By using sodium pentobarbital to make acute heart failure model in hemodynamics experiments obtained: Radix Aconiti and its compatibilities have the functions of enhancing myocardial contractility, Radix Aconiti have stronger effect of cardiac but with shorter duration, Radix Aconiti Preparata have weaker effect of cardiac but with longer duration. 3.View from the long-term toxicity experiment: under the premise of continuous administration of rats body weight increased slowly, organ index increased, in the blood,compared to the normal control group,there is no significant difference in the normal administer group, in blood serum test TG, GPT, albumin, creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, Natrium ion, Kalium ion had significant difference in the normal administer group.Conclusion: Radix aconiti and the combination drug"Trichosanthes Fructus"isn't absolute incompatibility. The results of the acute toxicity experiment shows, the toxic of Radix Aconiti Preparata combination with Trichosanthes Fructus is lower than Radix Aconiti Radix decoction alone. View from the long-term toxicity analysis, Radix Aconiti Preparata combination with Trichosanthes Fructus have some reversible toxin on kidney and liver.
