Polygonum named Polygonum cospidatum S.et Z, extensively distribute in most of China.Its dry root and stem which tasted bitter and cold could expel wind and dampness,eliminate stasis, relieve cough and reduce sputum.The ploydatin is one of the main active compositions of Polygonum cospidatum S.et Z.It has significant effect in antioxidant, anti-free radicals, and repressing or treating cancer and tumor and so on.The content of resveratrol in Polygonum is low while that of Polydatin is 10-20 times more. Therefore, the technologies of extracting, separating, purifying,enzymatic degradating polydatin in Polygonum cospidatum S.et Z. were systematically studied in this paper.The results were as follows:1. Extraction crafts:the extraction condition of Cuspidatum powder is 80% ethanol, 40℃,extracting 3 times by 2 h each time, the polydatin extraction rate was 90% or more..2. Refined crafts:Polyamide enrichment, alumina cleaning, active carbon decolorize-tion,recrystallization could prepared more than 98% of high purity Polydatin,the yield was 1.0%.The process is simple,low cost and suitable for industrial mass production.3. Enzymic dissolution:water solution of 10% Polydatin (98%) was put in the 40℃water bath to be fully dissolved,5% crude enzyme was added to react 30min. The polygonin in Polygonum cospidatum S.et Z were almost changed to resveratrol. The enzymic dissolution rate reached to 95% above, the enzymic dissolution transform rate reached to 95% or so.
