Objective:To explore VEGF expression between colonic adenoma of TCM syndrome types, and oberserve the correlation in different diseases and syndromes.Object and Methods:According to the criteria of inclusion, choose three syndrome types from colonic adenoma patients, every type have 20 cases, which contain Spleen wet sluggish certificate, damp and hot accumulate bowel syndrome, spleen and kidney Yang card. All subjects diagnosised by histopathologic, using immunohistochemical staining method detection VEGF expression, observing the difference between there types and normal control group, and then to explore their relevance.Results:1. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression in adenomas was significant ly higher than in normal colon tissue(P<0.01).2. There is no obvious difference between colonic adenoma group TCM syndrome type of pathologic characteristics(P> 0.05).3. According to statistics, expression of VEGF in three groups which named Spleen wet stagnation, heat Yun intestinal card, spleen deficiency syndrome were higher than that of normal, comparing three types to nomal type in expression of VEGF (P< 0.01), VEGF expression of Spleen and kidney Yang card group is higher than damp and hot accumulate bowel syndrome group, comparing with group spleen wet sluggish card and damp and hot accumulate bowel syndrome (P< 0.05); comparing heat Yun intestinal card to spleen deficiency syndrome group in expression of VEGF, There is no significant statistic(P> 0.05).Conclusion:1.Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression in adenomas was significant ly higher than in normal colon tissue.2. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in colon adenoma between the different expression of TCM are significant differences.
