[Objective] Used clinically to treat respiratory diseases targeted herbal materials, trace elements as indicators of cluster analysis, on the basis of total flavonoids and trace elements observed synergistic effect of scavenging free radicals.[Methods] 15 kinds of Chinese tradition medicines of Treatmenting Respiratory system diseases were Selected and the contents of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, iron, chromium, nickl, anganese, copper and zinc were determined, by FAAS, that to study the interrelation between trace elements elements and the therapeutic effect through method of blurred classification, the use of ethanol extract of Chinese medicine formulations of total flavonoids, determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry of total flavonoids, total flavonoids on free radical scavenging and metal ion binding capacity for analysis.[Results] 1. The result show Cluster in 9 kinds of medicines was similar when relative coefficent was 0.50;cluster in 8 kinds of medicines was similar when relative coefficent was 0.65; cluster in 4 kinds of medicines was similar when relative coefficent was 0.85. cluster in 2 kinds of medicines was similar when relative coefficent was 0.94. 2. The results showed that Drugs are rich in flavonoids, different drugs have different total flavonoids, total flavonoids scavenge free radicals function and adding different metal ions are different levels of superoxide radicals enhancing drugs, the data were statistically analyzed by adding ions markedly enhanced free radical scavenging capacity, with a simple free radical scavenging ability of metal ions significantly (p<0.01), and free radical scavenging ability of flavonoids alone were significantly different (p<0.05).[Conclusion]The contents of metal elements are rich while the relative coefficient is considerably great and their therapeutic effect is similar. This suggests that trace elements have much to do with the therapeutic effect. It provides a new scientific methods for researching new types of medicines...
