A Study On The Association Between The Polymorphisms Of MBL Gene With The Susceptibility To Tuberculosis In Xinjiang Uighurs Population

Objective:The aim of this study is to demonstrate the correlation between the polymorphisms of the MBL gene with the susceptibility of TB in Xinjiang Uighurs nationality.Methods:What the methods to elucidate the MBL-AB,HL,PQ polymorphisms were typed by PCR-SSP among 226 diagnosed tuberculosis patients and 231 healthy controls infected to mycobacterium. The relationship among the predisposed polymorphisms and the susceptibility of TB were validated in accordance with the case-control study, and cases were grouped according to the genotypes.Result:Result shows that i In the tuberculosis patients, genotype AA, AB, and BB were observed in 106, 106 and 14 cases respectively, while the same genotypes of the healthy controls were observed in 146,80,5. The mutation frequency of MBL-A/B genotype in the tuberculosis cases was strikingly higher than that in the healthy controls (OR=3.444 CI95%:1.240-9.566 P=0.012 Pc=0.022<0.05), The genotype AA is possiblely the protective factor of the tuberculosis disease,while the risk is the genotype BB. there was not significantly different between the frequency of MBL-H/L mutation genotype in the tuberculosis patients with it of the healthy controls (OR=1.600 CI95%:1.020-2.511 P=0.040 Pc=0.052>0.05),while the frequence are 25.66%,18.18%respectively. There was not significantly different between the frequency of MBL-P/Q mutation genotype of the tuberculosis patients with it of the healthy controls (OR=0.979 CI95%:0.541-1.797 P=0.050 Pc=0.994>0.05),while the frequence is 10.62%,10.82%respectively.The spearman sig coefficient of the patients and the healthy controls between the H/L genotype with the A/B are 0.018,0.228 respectively,and the P value of that are 0.006,0. The spearman sig coefficient of the patients and the healthy controls between the P/Q genotype with the A/B are -0.095,-0.09 separately,and the P value of that are 0.152,0.172 severally.In Chinese Uighurs nationality there are four types of haplotype as follows:HPA, LPA, LPB, LQA.Conclusion:The A/B polymorphisms of MBL gene are associated with susceptibility to tuberculosis in Chinese Uighurs population.The H/L,P/Q polymorphisms of MBL gene are not associated with susceptibility to tuberculosis in Chinese Uighurs population.It exists to interlock unbalance between the H /L,P/Q polymorphisms of MBL gene with A/B in Chinese Uighurs minority,and the H/L maybe contains an inclination of forwarddirection interaction with the A/B.
