HLA-DRB₁ Allele Genetic Susceptibility To Guangxi Zhuang And Han Nationality Patients With Myasthenia Gravis

Objective: Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a neuromuscular disorder of autoimmune disease .The pathogenesis of MG is unknown and generally involved with the genetic and environmental factors. We analyze the HLA-DRB1 allele genetic susceptibility to zhuang and Han nationality MG patients of Guangxi region .So we can know distribution of HLA-DRB1 allele between Zhuang MG and Han MG , and find out the susceptible allele of Zhuang and Han MG.Method: HLA-DRB1 allele in 26 Zhuang MG patients and 35 Han MG patients,35 Zhuang control and 30 Han controls were investigated by special sequence primers-PCR Technique.Results: The frequencies of DRB1*0901 were significantly increased in the Zhuang MG patients, specially MG in female and early-onset, and the frequencies of DRB1*0301 were increased between Zhuang and Han MG patients with thymoma.Conclusion : 1.HLA-DRB1 allele has both the similarities and the difference in Zhuang and Han nationality of Guangxi region. 2 HLA-DRB1*0901 is probably the susceptible gene of the Zhuang MG patients ,specially MG in female and. early-onset. 3. HLA-DRB1*0301 is probably the susceptible gene of MG patients with thymoma. 4.There is no the susceptible gene of Han nationality MG in our study.
