| Objective To identify the expression of nm23-H1 and MMP-2 protein in gastric cardia adenocarcinoma and normal cardia tissue,so as to research the infiltration metastasis and clinical significance with the expression of nm23-H1 and MMP-2 protein in GCA.Methods nm23-H1 and MMP-2 protein expression were examined by S-P method of immunohistochemistry in 57 cases of gastric cardia adenocarcinoma and 25 cases of normal tissue .Chi square test and Fisher's exact test were used in enumerition and Spearman coefficient correlation was used in correlation analysis by SPSS soft.Results The positive expression rate of nm23-H1 and MMP-2 in gastric cardia adenocarcinoma tissue is 24.6% and 73.7%,statistical significance differently with those normal tissue 92.0% and 20.0% respectively (P<0.05).The expression of nm23-H1 and MMP-2 is significantly correlated with depth invaded,lymph node metastasis and TNM stage of GCA (p<0.05). The expression of MMP-2 is relate with differentiation degree of GCA (P<0.05),but the nm23-H1 is not .All the expression is not with sex,age,histological differentiation of gastric cardia adenocarcinoma (P>0.05). The relationship of nm23-H1 and MMP-2 protein expression in GCA is negative correlation(r=-0.585, P<0.01).Conclusion In gastric cardia adenocarcinoma the expression rate of nm23-H1 protein is high and MMP-2 is low.It is intimation this two kinds of protein may be correlate with the progress of GCA.The close relationships of pathological characteristics and biological behavior with the expression may be used as reference indexes to judge the GCA.The expression of nm23-H1 and MMP-2 is correlated with depth invaded,lymph node metastasis and TNM stage of GCA,so it may be uesed for integration diagnosis of clinic.The important mechanism of action about nm23-H1 and MMP-2 is negative correlation and significantly with infiltration metastasis in GCA,so combinde analysis the expression of nm23-H1 and MMP-2 protein can appraise clinic stage and provide important information for the therapy. |
