The methods that the suppression of unwanted pre-sleep thoughts in insomnia is mostly based on cognitive behavior therapy. These researches treat insomnia primary by cognitive activities and uncontrollable cognitive activities to interact on each other to transfer attention that to stop uncontrollable cognitive activities. The difficulty in these researches is that the insomniacs suppress their unwanted pre-sleep thoughts by cognitive activities, but interrupt the biological clock to work at the same time.In order to resolve the difficulty, we research about how to shorten the sleep latency by a new method. Our mainly researches and results are shown as below:1) We use the intermittent stimulus which controlled by embedded computer system to substitute for continuous cognitive activities. It provides a method to resolve the difficulty by this way.2) We can measure the time which needed by biological clock to work to make people fall asleep accurately by changing the interval of stimulus.3) We use intermittent stimulus which based on biological clock to induce cognitive activities can shorten sleep latency. In contrast experiment, the sleep latency reduced from 26 minutes to 15 minutes.
