Chinese Medicine Intervention Study Of Heart Rate Variability In Patients With Chronic Heart Failure

Objective:1. Research the relationship between HRV indexes and TCM Syndrome differentiation, to find the difference between TCM syndromes and HRV, then make the TCM syndrome objective and numerical to provide the basis for clinical treatment.2. Observe the difference between each index of HRV after the Integrative Medicine and Western Medicine, to choose the better treatment options.Methods:1. Randomly and equally divide the Chronic heart failure patients who march inclusion criteria into traditional Chinese and western medicine group (treatment group) and Western medicine treatment group (control group). Patients who were included in the western medicine treatment group were given the traditional treatment against CHF. TCM group were divided into three types of deficiency of qi and yin with blood stasis,qi deficiency and blood-water stasis,yang deficiency of heart and kidney with blood stasis by syndrome differentiation. These three types were treated respectively with Shengmai Decoction and Liuweidihuang Pill,Baoyuan Decoction and Wuling Powder,Zhenwu Decoction and Fangjihuangqi Decoction.2. Record each index of HRV of every patients, SDNN,SDANN,RMSSD,PNN50,and NYHA, Syndrome Differentiation of TCM, Records of the results, than statistical calculations.Results:1. In the TCM gourp, each Syndromes have difference with the others. HRV of Qi and yin deficiency with blood stasis was the highest. Qi deficiency and blood-water stasis was lower. yang deficiency of heart and kidney with blood stasis was the lowest. (P<0.01).2. The effect of combination therapy group was better than the western medicine group. In the combination therapy group, After treatment SDNN,SDANN,RMSSD were obviously higher(P<0.01), PNN50 were obviously lower (P<0.01). In the western medicine group, After treatment SDNN,SDANN,RMSSD were obviously higher(P<0.05), PNN50 were obviously lower (P<0.05).Conclusions:1. The changes of these indexes(SDNN, SDANN)contribute to districting different zheng differentiation-classifications.2. The conventional treatment with cardiotonic, diuretic and vascular dilator can improve the heart function and the variability of heart rate in patients with CHF...
