| OjectivesTo detect expression of Survivin, Bcl-2 in in children's osteosarcoma were by immunohistochemical technique,to exmine apoptosis in children osteosarcoma, explore the correlation of them , analyze their association with clinical diagnosis and prognosis of children osteosarcoma.MethodsImmunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of Survivin and Bcl-2 in specimens from 36 cases of children osteosarcoma. Cell apoptosis in children osteosarcoma detected by TUNEL. To calculate Apoptotic index (AI)and overall analyze information of all the 36 cases.ResultIn 36 cases,the positive rate of Survivin and Bcl-2 were 69.2%(25/36)and 47.2%(17/36).The expression of Survivin and Bcl-2 were not significantly correlated to sex,age,location, tumor's size, and pathological classification (P>0. 05),but correlated to Enneking grade(P﹤0.05);The AI in children osteosarc- oma were (6.66±1.87)%,in control group were (12.28±3.29) %,AI in Survivin positive patients(4.55±0.63)% were respectively much lower thanin Survivin negative patients(6.48±1.47) % (P﹤0.05); AI in Bcl-2 positive patients(4.68±0.57) % were respectively much lower than in Bcl-2 negative patients(6.53±1.65) % (P﹤0.05);The survival rate in patients with positive expression of Survivin and Bcl-2 were significantly lower than that in negative control groug(P﹤0.01).ConclusionHigh expression of Survivin and Bcl-2 were found in children osteosarcoma tissue.The expression of Survivin was closely correlated to the expression of Bcl-2.Detection of Survivin and Bcl-2 expressions and Enneking grade may be useful for judging prognosis of osteosa... |
