ObjectiveEsophageal cancer is one of human common invasive malignant tumors,increasingly serious harm to human health.In recent years the research of tumor markers has been increasing, whether through simple marker tests to diagnose early esophageal cancer has been expected, Such as p53, CEA, specificity ene alcoholize enzyme etc, but its specificity and sensitivity is confirmed not high. extracelluir matrix metalloproteinase inducer, CD147 / EMMPRIN can obviously adjust matrixmetalloproteinase-2(MMP-2) secretion, and in recent studies the MMP-2 secretion are closely confirm related to the tumor progression, this experiment through testing the expression of CD147, MMP-2 in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and the esophagus normal organization, but reports less in patients with esophageal cancer. analysis the relationship of them with biological behaviors in the esophageal cancer, discuss effect of the above indexes on esophageal occurrence, development, infiltration, transfer the role that the diagnosis, providing a new effective index for treatment and prognosis for esophageal cancer.MethodsUsing peroxidase marker chains mildew LuanBai staining method (S-P method) immunohistochetnistry, testing the expression of CD147 and MMP-2 of 60 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and the normal esophagus organization.analysising the relationship between expression of CD147 and MMP-2 with clinical pathology index with sex,age,general type,deffrentition degree,lmphnodes metastasis and clinical stages and histological grade and the development in esophageal cancer, as the same time preliminarily investigates the relationship between the both and the development process of esophagus cancer. Using statistical software SPSS13.0 analysis,multiple orderly classification variables Kruskal-Wallis and Wilcoxon,using the binary comparison between groups inspection,using Wilcoxon inspection;according to the clinical different pathological index group, using Z orχ~2 test between each group.with CD147 and MMP-2 Spearman rank correlation analysis using relevant. P<0.05 with statietical significance.Results1. CD147 and MMP- 2 mainly express in the tumor tissue of esophagus but less or not in normal tissue.2. Expression rate of CD147 in normal esophagus organization and esophageal tissue were respectively 13.3%,80.0%, which was significant difference (χ~2=7.849, P<0.006).3. Expression rate of MMP-2 in normal esophagus organization and esophageal tissue were respectively 10.0%,90.0% , which was significant difference (χ~2=9.415, P<0.001).4. In esophageal, the positive expression rate of CD147 and MMP-2 in lymph node metastasis was higher than no (P<0.01),and has nothing relationship with age,gender,gross type,degree of differentiation (P>0.05).5. In esophageal, the positive expression of CD147 and MMP-2 protein in late was higher than early(P<0.01), and has nothing with and age,gender,gross type,degree of differentiation (P>0.05).6. The CD147 and MMP - 2 Esophageal tissues was positively correlated, correlation coefficient rs=0.565. (P<0.001)ConclusionThere was significant difference expression of CD147 and MMP- 2 betwwen the normal esophageal and esophageal cancer tissue; and it in lymph node metastasis was higher than no; and higher in late than early, there was cooperation betwwen CD147 and MMP- 2;show that CD147 and MMP-2 in patients with esophageal plays an expression high in invasion and metastasis aspects, simultaneous determination of CD147 and MMP-2 might become new tumor mark in predicting invasion and metastasis of esophageal cancer and directing management.
