objectives:To evaluate the role of HER2and VEGF expression in esophageal squamous cell as well as the relationship to the clinicopathology of tumor, and the correlation between this two.Materials and methods:methods:32cases of surgically resected esophageal squamous cell carcinoma samples were collected of the Jiang Su Si Hong County People s Hospital, Expressions of HER2and VEGF were observed by Immunohistochemistry staining (SABC)method, to judge both the expression levels according to the staining strength. Results:factor expression rate:in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, HER2positive expression rate was93.8%(30/32); VEGF positive expression rate was87.5%(28/32). the expression of HER2is closely related to depth of invasion and cell differentiation in esophageal squamous cell (p<0.05) and was no significant relationship to lymph node metastasis(p>0.05);the expression of VEGF is closely related to depth of tumor invasion (p<0.05), lymph node metastasis and cell differentiation (p<0.05).the expression of HER2and VEGF also has a certain correlation (p<0.05).Conclusion:HER2and VEGF in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma showed high expression, Closely related to both the positive expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, prompted the regulation of relations between the HER2and VEGF thereby promoting tumor angiogenesis regulation mechanism of the synergistic effect relationship, both synergies involved in the development of the transfer process of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma to prove HER2and VEGF in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma can be the markers of occurring and transfer of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
