Object: To investigate the appropriate airway manage method in elderly painless fibreoptic bronchoscopy patients.Method: 60 patients scheduled for painless fibreoptic bronchoscopy were randomly divided into 3 groups, patients in groupⅠoxygen with nasal cannula, groupⅡw ith endoscopy facial mask and groupⅢdouble-tube laryngeal mask.Record bronchoscopy examination condition and SBP,DBP,HR,SpO2 just before bronchoscopy,2 min after insertion, biopsy or flushing,2min after biopsy and leaving the operating room. The operation time, anesthesia time,SpO2 decline to 90%,85% were also recorded. Results: Patients in GroupⅡ,Ⅲexperienced fewer intraoperative hypoxemia (Ⅰ18;Ⅱ16;Ⅲ3)and operation suspension (Ⅰ35;Ⅱ5;Ⅲ1)(P < 0.01) ,the satisfaction for anesthesia was also higher than group I(15%) (groupⅡ50%:P < 0.05;groupⅢ95%:P < 0.01).Conclusion: Nasal cannula, endoscopy facial mask and laryngeal mask can all maintain stable blood pressure and heart rate in old patients. Endoscopy facial mask and laryngeal mask both prevent the occurance of serious hypoxia and don't increase the time of examination and anesthesia. Moreover, laryngeal mask is the most dependable method to reduce the incidence of hypoxia during examination and can obtain the most satisfaction of anesthesia.
