Objective: To investigate the values of fiberoptic bronchoscopy(FFB)in diagnosis and treatment of neonatal intensive care unit(NICU).Methods: Retrospectively analyse the clinical features,diagnosis and curative effect of92 cases of fiberoptic bronchoscopy in NICU in Anhui Provincial Children's hospital from January 2012 to December 2016.Results: All 92 cases were diagnosed by FFB.FFB was mainly used in 67 cases of dyspnea,wheezing,choking and nasal congestion(72.82%),followed by 17 casesof weaning neonates(18.48%).The mainly indications for FFB was respiratory system anatomical abnormalities of 72 cases(78.26%),In which the most common tracheobronchial stenosis was softening,a total of 36 cases(50%);the second were 32 cases of throat congenital abnormalities(44.44%),and a few had abnormal nasal(15.56%).Other factors outside the respiratory tract were commonly caused by tracheal compression due to congenital heart disease,Only 1 cases was airway foreign bodies.The majority of newborns showed simple or combined inflammatory,there were a total of 76 cases(82.61%).Through the treatment of lavage,foreign body forceps by FB,the inflammation in children was absorbed fastly,the weaning time was shortened,and the success rate of weaning was increased.All of the children during the examination and after the examination did not appear serious adverse events.Conclusion: FFB is a safe and effective method for the diagnosis and treatment of neonatal respiratory diseases.
