Objective : To investigate the level of pregnant diet nutrition in urban and rural area of Guilin ,explore the relationship of micro-nutrients and anemia and then carry out the nutrient intervention. Methods : Hb, Hct, SI and SF were detected in 308 pregnant women of Guilin. Vitamin C, vitamin A and iron supplements intervention was carried out. Questionnaires were performed and the diet nourishment was evaluated with the aid of the Nutrition Calculating Program. Results : Nutrition evaluation results showed that the dietary structure of pregnant women in rural group was inferior to women in urban group obviously, which animal food intake ration was 22.2 % vs 28.6 %.The plant food intake ration in rural and urban area were 73.0% and 65.6%, respectively. The incidence of anemia of pregnant women in rural and urban area were 46.15% and 28.92%, respectively. After micro-nutrients intervention, the anemia ratio was improved obviously (P<0.05). Conclusion :Anemia of rural women is associated to the dietary structure, diet habits and nutritional knowledge closely. Anemia ratio in the rural women was higher than that of the urban . Thus, some advice on diet nourishment should be made for pregnant women in rural area, in order to decrease the incidence of anemia in women with the third trimester gestation . |
