Objectives:This study was to observe the changes of plasma D-dimer(DD) and thrombin-antithrombin III complexes(TAT) levels in NVAF patients and to explore the clinical value of these coagulation markers in evaluating the thromboembolic risk of patients with non-Valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF).Methods:The study included61NVAF patient, of whom16cases scored0(CHADS2Score),22cases scored1-2,23cases scored=3;30normal cases were selected as comparisons. Plasma TAT and DD levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)in all groups. Spearman Rank Correlation was used to analyze correlations between embolic risk and the levels of TAT and DD in patients with non-Valvular atrial fibrillation.Results:①The plasma levels of DD and TAT in patients with NVAF were significantly higher than those in the control group, respectively as (0.42±0.08ug/ml VS0.14±0.03ug/ml, P<0.01) and (5.49±1.28ng/ml VS2.24±0.48ng/ml, P<0.01).②Plasma levels of DD in0score group and1-2score group were (0.48±0.32ug/ml VS0.38±0.22ug/ml, P<0.05),and that in1-2score group and=3score group were (0.38±0.22ug/ml VS0.27±0.14ug/ml,P<0.05). Plasma levels of DD in1-2score group and=3score group were correlated to CHADS2score,while not correlated in0score group under Spearman Rank Correlation.③Plasma levels of TAT in0score group and1-2score group were(6.12±1.31ng/ml VS5.09±0.98ug/ml,P<0.05),and that in1-2score group and=3score group were (5.09±0.98ug/ml VS4.56±1.08ug/ml, P<0.05). Plasma levels of TAT in1-2score group and=3score group were correlated to CHADS2score, while not correlated in0score group under Spearman Rank Correlation.Conclusions:1. The patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation(NVAF) show evidence of prothrombotic state.2. Level of plasma TAT and DD can be applied to predicting embolic risk in NVAF patients with high and medium risk clear from Warfarin.
