The Value Of Using Of The Gastrointestinal Helping Showing Agent Repletion Method In Transrectal Ultrasound Of Evaluation Preoperative Staging Of Rectal Cancer

Objective1. The aim of the study was to explore the value of using of the Gastrointestinal helping showing agent repletion method in transrectal ultrasound of evaluation preoperative T, N staging of rectal cancer, with pathology results contrast judgement its specificity and influencing factors.2. Research Gastrointestinal helping showing agent repletion method in the upper and lower of rectal cancer in staging have any differences.3. According to the results of using Gastrointestinal helping showing agent repletion method compare the retrospective data which analyzed the pelvic MRI. CT and TRUS been using for preoperative T,N staging of rectal cancer.Methods This paper research44cases who had treat in our hospital of the center of colorectal cancer treatment between January2011to February2012, and all of the patients who did not preoperative chemoradiotherapy. Through the gastrointestinal helping showing agent repletion method, observed the position,size,echo, blood flow, intestines and depth of adjacent organs infiltrating involvement of the rectum mass. Using TNM staging system evaluation tumor infiltration depth (T stage) and local lymph node metastasis (N staging), and contrast postoperative histopathologic results,which usesd it to standard to evaluate this method for evalution T, N staging accuracy of rectal cancer. At the same time compared the result of retrospective TRUS, pelvicMRI, CT.Results44cases of rectal cancer patients who suffer the gastrointestinal helping showing agent repletion method of transrectal ultrasound, T and N staging rate of rectal cancer were79.5%and63.6%, the diagnosis of early cancer (T1) accuracy is83.3%, and the diagnosis adanced tumors (T2-T4) was78.9%. TRUS and pelvic CT, MRI diagnosis the accuracy of T staging of rectal cancer respectively:55.6%,73.3%,73.1%; The accuracy of N staging respectively59.3%,60%,73.1%.The gastrointestinal helping showing agent repletion method of transrectal ultrasound diagnose staging T accuracy is higher than TRUS and pelvic MRI, CT. MRI diagnosis local lymph node metastasis accuracy is higher than The gastrointestinal helping showing agent repletion method, CT and TRUS.The lower and upper of rectal cancer diagnose the accuracy rate of tumor infiltration depth have no significant difference (p>0.05).Conclusions The gastrointestinal helping showing agent repletion method of trans-rectal ultrasound has high accuracy, rectal cancer is the effective method with infiltrating the depth of bowel and the staging TNM of evaluation. Simple operation, the pain is small and diagnosis accuracy is high, the accuracy of T stage was significantly higher than the TRUS,and diagnostic accuracy and sensitive of metastatic lymph node is lower than MRI. If you can combine these several imaging methods,will provide important information of patients with rectal cancer,for prognosis of the choices and judgment for the clinical treatment.
