On a whole, his comments achieve support from philosophy of ancient China and he also introduced some concepts like ti and yung, dao and utensil. At the same time he employ the circulation system in Zhouyi and finanlly all these above lead poetic comments itself into a eternal flow and a perennial system.According to the consistency principle, a poet should keep both his presentation and character stay the same standard. After Knowing that we can see Si Kongtu lay his value of life on the Literary creation and criticism which acts outward as running a country for it's peace and stability and inward as the pursuit of peaceful and dilute state of mind. The Confucian thoughts and progressive spirit has been become a potential consciousness foe every Chinese people. In the view of literature creation, Twenty-four grades is a summary of various kinds of writing styles of vigorousness, unstrainedness and indignation. Therefore it needs to express and promote the responsibility for one's people and country and straight-forwardness and enterprising spirit. From the viewpoint of literary criticism, works must have substantial content and must be filled with excellent forms which can keep up with.Taoist thought is the basis of Si Kongtu's poetic theroy. He always has the greatest esteem for that kind of poem which forms and contens, outside-in jobs and inside-out jobs operates in harmony and concord. We know that more than half of the pieces are full of the features of Indifferent style. As for the style characteristics of these twenty-four short verses themselves all give expression to Taoism without exception. The eagerness for a broad-minded and wild life is also a reflection of the impact from Taoism. And the emphasis for a peaceful state of mind is not only the necessity from literary creation and appreciation, but also an expectation for a life state.Zen Buddhism is the unique feature which his works possess. In later tang dynasty, Zen Buddhism became a wide spread social phenomenon which made poets and writers turn to Zen to find new writing inspirations. He finally reach a conclusion that both Zen Buddhism and poem style have the same original source which means they tread different paths that lead to the same destination. Well, what attracts him most is people can get comfort from Zen Buddhism. Zen never makes excessive demands like meditation practice but put emphasis on ordinary life which will definitely make people try to reach understanding of chan without moving away from official career.
