Yi Epic "meige" And "cham" Comparative Study

" World-originate Epic" is one of the basic forms of epic. World-originate Epics of nations, the basic plot from the contents of the forms of artistic expression, etc., have more in common with regularity. "Meige" and "Chamu" which is World-originate Epics both circulate in Chuxiong Yi Prefecture, Yunnan Province. They experienced a long history of mutual exchange and influence of time, and shared a common origin in many respects, so haiving very much the same basic plot. As the "Meige" is a "living form" of the epic and the "Chamu" as Yi classics and saved. They had generated and transmitted in their own cultural and ecological environment. The transmission mode had a slightly different face of the crisis.This paper was divided into five parts, the first part "Introduction" was mainly for the later the "Meige" and "Chamu" pave the way for comparative analysis. Firstly, the "Epic" and " World-originate Epic " of Meaning, Period produced, the ecological environment and other issues for was described in detail. Secondly, the "Meige" and "Chamu" text based and formation process was made a more detailed review. Finally, I simply described "Meige" and "Chamu" the possibility of comparison. In the second part of the "text comparison", from the overall grasp of the text, I made more detaila comparative analysis on the "Meige" and "Chamu" of the text content which from four aspects that was chaos of creation, human origins, flood myths, early life and the invention. The third part of "Meige" and "Chamu" art of narrative structure and language features of the art were compared. The fourth part, based on the "Meige" and "Chamu" outside the text, I made comparison for the spread of context and cultural ecology of "Meige" and "Chamu". I respectively discussed the inheritance situation of which is "Meige" as a non-word epic and "Chamu" as classics of Yi text, and then carried out analysis that they are faced with as of the crisis and its causes"Meige" and "Chamu" were hailed one of Yi Nationality "four World-originate Epic " as folk literature, which reflected the national society, folk custom and other aspects of "Encyclopedia" This paper was made comparative study that focused on different regions and the branch of the Yi Nationality epic "Meige" and "Chamu", and Only on the " World-originate Epic " the complex problem of the initial trial research.
