The Multi-research Of The Construction "Bi N Hai N" In Modern Chinese

The construction " bi N hai N" was very popular in recent years. The popularity of this new expression caused great concerning in the area of language study. In this paper, on the basis of the research foundation about contemporary literature works,corpus from news media and the Internet, the author intend to deepen the study by using semantic feature analysis and the theories of cognitive linguistics about "bi N hai N". In order to unfold the reason,semantic feature,pragmatic meaning and the internal principle about the development of this format, the author lean towards semantic explain,pragmatic meaning and cognitive mechanism to make further study as well as to amend and supplement the queries and questions.It is divided into six parts, as follows:Chapter One:Introduction. Introduce the origin about this paper, and represent the relevant study of the current academic, simultaneously point out the necessity of the study about this format. In the end, the author point out the research scope,research method,corpus and the significance.Chapter Two:The syntactic features of "bi N hai N". In this part, the author analyze "bi N hai N" through static analysis about the syntactic function,the syntax ingredient of this format in the whole sentence,the usage of degree adverb "hai". Also, the author compares the format of "bi N hai N" with "bi N hai X".Chapter Three:Semantic analysis of "bi N hai N". This part point out the types of nouns which can be used in this format. The author classifies the nouns and summarizes the features of these nouns.Chapter Four: The cognitive motivation about "bi N hai N". In this chapter, the author explain the detailed cognitive motivation about "bi N hai N". The importance of the cognitive context is mentioned, but also metonymy can give reasonable explanation about this format.Chapter Five: Pragmatic analysis of "bi N hai N".
