Zhou Yi which was written in the forepart of Chinese civilization is considered as one of the important origins of Chinese culture. Moreover, lots of people take Zhou Yi as the top of its kind. Frankly speaking, Zhou Yi has influenced our normal life and the developing of the Chinese traditional culture. Because Zhou Yi relate to so many aspects, our study of Zhou Yi only aims at aesthetics, especially the'Bai Bi'and "Yin Yang" aesthetics theory because they affected the forming of ancient Chinese aesthetics theory. This paper is composed of three chapters. In the first chapter, I introduce the basic content and the three ways to express aesthetics of Zhou Yi. Zhou Yi is composed of two parts, namely YiJing and Yi Zhuan. It involves three kinds of thinking that are Confucianism, Taoism and Yin-Yangism. It uses'Gua','Yao','Xiang'and'Shu'to express the endless changes of universes, society and life. These changes open out various beauties. There are three ways to express aesthetics of Zhou Yi, namely picture, words and philosophy. Under the guidance of Zhou Yi aesthetics, ancient Chinese aesthetics theory became systematic. In the second chapter, I analyse the aesthetics of Bi Gua and its huge influence on the ancient Chinese aesthetics. First, I demonstrate the relationship between aesthetics and Bi Gua from the literalness of Bi Gua,'Guaxiang'and the basic meanings of 'Guaci'. Based on these, I express my point of view that nature and harmony are the real beauty. And then, I demonstrate that aesthetics of Bi Gua influenced the ancient Chinese aesthetics theory. This viewpoint can be supported by the relationship between'Wen' and'Zhi'as well as the debate between'Ji Bi'and'Bai Bi'aesthetics theory.'Ji Bi'was the mainstream in the Northern and Southern Dynasty, but in the period of Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty,'Bai Bi'became mode. In other words, the relationship between'Ji Bi'and'Bai Bi'aesthetics theory makes the Chinese aesthetics theory various and historical. In the third chapter, my study aims at three kinds of aesthetics thoughts that origin from Zhou Yi, namely'Yin-Yang'aesthetics,'Harmony'aesthetics and'Changing aesthetics, and its huge influence on the ancient Chinese aesthetics.'Masculine beauty' and'feminine beauty'are the basic conception in ancient Chinese aesthetics theory. They are also the typical aesthetics style as well as the base of'Harmony'aesthetics and 'Changing'aesthetics, although they are opposite in many aspects.'Harmony'is the ultimate goal of art creating and the perfect standard of appreciation. It can be found in various Chinese arts.'Changing'emphasizes the life-force of beauty. It tries to capture the essence of beauty in the changing process.'Changing'makes the ancient Chinese arts special.
