Based on the retrospect of main views of the "Four Schools" which was formed by a fierce "Aesthetics Discussion" on 50-60 years of the 20th century, we made a description to the theoretical background of Practical Aesthetics. And in combination with comments we carried out a conscientiously study for the key points belonged to representatives of the Practical Aesthetics, such as Mr. Li-zehou, Liu-gangji and Jiang-kongyang. What's more, we express our views to the theoretical development about "Post-practical Aesthetics", "Neo-practical Aesthetics" and "Aesthetics of Practical Ontology" in New Period.In this way we try to let the predicament and the way out of Practical Aesthetics be revealed more clearly. Finally, we admit and assure that "Life Theory Aesthetics" can be as a vision to deeply promote the study of Practical Aesthetics, and further expectation to achieve the trend of globalization and nationalization of Chinese Aesthetics.The frist chapter is a brief introduction about the whole paper we chose.The second chapter is an interpretation to the main views of the "Four Schools" which was formed by the First "Aesthetics Discussion" in China, so as to expound the theoretical background of "Practical Aesthetics" that was advocated by Li-zehou firstly.The third chapter is aim to describe and comment the main points of Li-zehou's "Practical Ontology Aesthetics", Liu-gangji's "Ontology Aesthetics of Practical Criticism" and Jiang-kongyang's "Practical Creation Aesthetics",and according to the descriptions and comments above,we try to make an overall evaluation of the Practical Aesthetics. Only in this way can we pave the way for the historic and cultural situation of Practical Aesthetics in New Period.The fourth chapter is about the different evolutions and developments in Practical Aesthetics of New Period from four dimensions, that is, the theoretical subversion of "Post-practical Aesthetics", the theoretical deviation of Li-zehou in late, the theoretical advance of "Neo-practical Aesthetics" and the theoretical "development" of "Aesthetics of Practical Ontology". Moreover, we attempt to use the Materialistic and dialectical views to make a concise evalution of Post-practical Aesthetics, Neo-practical Aesthetics, and Aesthetics of Practical Ontology. Only in this way can we both confess the enlightenments or contributions that the three schools above have made for the study of Practical Aesthetics, and see the theoretical shortages or defect in themselves. Accordingly, it foreshadows the feasible and possible way of current Practical Aesthetics study.The fifth chapter is to interpret and elaborate the preliminary envisions about how to really enrich and develop Practical Aesthetics:including the Ideological foundations that we construct "Life Theory Aesthetics", the basic concepts that "Life Theory Aesthetics" are implied, and the theoretical goals that "Life Theory Aesthetics" is in pursuit of making "Art, Aesthetic, and Life " move towards unity.
