The Image Construction Of <Zhejiang Chao> On The Province Of Zhejiang

During the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, Zhejiang is one of the provinces in China which sent the most students to study abroad and also earlier recovery district in 1911 revolution. So Zhejiang was an effective province in carrying out the policy of local self-government. Zhejiang always holds an important position in China history and in modern society, it is also an economic giants. So it will make a great sense in research of its past and present through medium construction,<Zhejiang chao> was set up at the time of intersection when foreign countries wanted to invade and divide up Zhejiang.It is also the intersection when Zhejiang want to get rid of federal totalitarian government and implemented local self—government. Through the representation of<Zhejiang Chao> which was set up by Zhejiang nationality students, We can see the theme of the times and Zhejiang local geography, politics, economy, cultural, customs, religion, property, etc. After the medium construction of<Zhejiang Chao>, we can see an all-around image of Zhejiang in China. It ability in dealing with local affairs make Zhejiang be prepared for local autonomy. I divide up this article in four chapters to elaborate.The first chapter elaborates the establishment of<Zhejiang Chao> and its spread network. Through the international and domestic situation at the time we can see the background of the founding of<Zhejiang Chao>. We also can see the political environment to study abroad for Zhejiang nationality students and their positive activities in Japan. All these research help us to analysis the political function of <Zhejiang Chao> and how it publicize its political point through the dissemination network.The second chapter mainly analysis the editors and author group of<Zhejiang Chao>. Editor and author are the executors of one newspaper. Their mind decide the newspaper's nature directly. Through the author group's basic information and their local complex, we can the cultural connotation and local characteristics of <Zhejiang Chao>. The third chapter is the main point of this paper. Its task is to explore how <Zhejiang Chao> establish the image of Zhejiang province. Through the two special columns of" Zhejiang's past and present" and "Investigation of Zhejiang", we can find how <Zhejiang Chao> construct the image of Zhejiang province.The fourth chapter is the result of that construction. From<Zhejiang Chao>'s local and national consciousness, we can get a deep impression of Zhejiang province under the construction of<Zhejiang Chao>.The summary is to analysis why<Zhejiang Chao> successfully construct the image of Zhejiang province on the basis of former four chapters.
