Chinese And Western Modernj Design Of Natioal Elements

In other words, in this fast developing age, people adapt themselves to the rapid work and study as they forget and cry for the tradition.In the early 20th century, influenced by the industrial production the European producers were blind to the decoration in rough and slipshod way making the designs revolting. Which were intended to serve the masses, because of the convenience and rapidly of industry. However, as a result of generations designers'research and leadership, a number of excellent designs not only met the needs of the age and masses, but also inherited and enhanced the excellent traditional elements. The following examples fully illustrate the significance of national elements in modern designs like William Morris'design of Red House, Hector Guimard'designs of French Metro and Mackintosh'design of Willow Teahouse, etc. This thesis is intended to analyse the feasibility and significance of traditional elements used in modern Chinese design by means of the example of western outstanding designs.As a long history nation, China has an old and splendid culture, so Chinese culture abounds with national elements. Since the reform and opening up, the development of China's economy had been once much faster than that of China's culture. But with consistent enhancement of national strength, more and more men of Insight realized that it was impossible for Chinese design to be international famous by copying or processing on commission foreign designs. So a number of reinforced groups emerged, like Li Ning, Lenovo, Haier, Seven Brand, etc. The designs with Chinese elements plug into the products of these designs are also splendid and excellent. And 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 2010World Expo also illustrate that Chinese traditional elements can be further researched and used. We should use this opportunity to devote great effort to develop national elements to make everything around us to develop national elements can be further researched and used.We should make every foreign friend to be proud to have China in the world, to make the Chinese deigns to be a part to the world designs.
