Chinese traditional decoration pattern of modern decoration painting the research of the enlightenment, the continuation of traditional culture, improve their self-cultivation painting creators of painting and decorating creation, etc all has very important practical significance. Return to traditional, inheriting extends in today's adornment of contemporary adornment art has become art and researchers's consciousness and research subject.At present, the domestic many universities in decorative art courses set the content of the traditional decorative arts. We in the "Chinese traditional decoration pattern course" study, should grasp the traditional style of art deco from traditional lines, the matrix to obtain various art genes, make adornment art in general basis, to have deep national connotation and spirit, and cultivate new organism, in inherit the traditional premise to development and innovation.This paper, based on the creative thinking the attention to traditional decoration pattern forms with modern decoration ideas of painting the organic combination of the traditional Chinese pattern in research, the basis of modern decoration painting, described the basic theory and creative methods. Chinese traditional lines of courses of study method, decorative painting and fusion of Chinese traditional designs, this paper focuses on research as the adornment picture for today's trying to have a relatively clear teaching the theoretical understanding and creation practice enlightenment.
