As one of the most promising industries in the 21st century and an important branch of creative culture industry, animation industry's development greatly depends on the cultivation of qualified people specialized in animation design. More than one thousand colleges in China have set up the animation specialty; however, in the light of their inexperience in setting teaching objectives, teaching contents and courses, and unqualified teaching in some colleges, the ratio of qualified talents to the number of students who major in animation is rather low. How to improve the cultivation of qualified animation talents and realize the new objective of specialty construction has become a burning question for higher vocational schools.Talent training program is the general design and implementation blueprint of student cultivation. With "Combination of Practicing and Learning" as the breakthrough point and Animation Student Training Program of higher vocational schools as the theme, the thesis first dwells on the researching background, then defines the concepts such as "Combination of Practicing and Learning" "Talent Training Program" and "Animation". Finally, by summing up the research in China and abroad, the thesis puts forward the study idea, research methods and the construction of the study. In the body part, the thesis first analyzes the development of animation industry and the demand for students graduating from higher vocational schools. By using interviews and questionnaires, the thesis generalizes enterprises' demand for students graduating from higher vocational schools. Then, by comparing talent training program of animation specialty with that of Film, TV and Media specialty, artistic design specialty and comprehensive undergraduates, the thesis explores the characteristics of talent training program of animation specialty in higher vocational schools. Then, based on the analysis and market demand, with "Combination of Practicing and Learning" as the cardinal line and the cultivation of professional competence and basic qualities, the thesis studies the development and design of talent training program of animation specialty in higher vocational schools. Finally, based on the empirical study in Changzhou Textile Garment Institute, the thesis demonstrates the feasibility of talent training program featuring "Combination of Practicing and Learning", and the effectiveness of adopting specialization and modularization courses in higher vocational schools.The study on the talent training program of animation students in higher vocational schools favors the diversification development of students, and promotes the improvement of talent cultivation quality. Therefore, it is of great significance for the talent cultivation and the development of higher vocational schools and animation industry.
