Morphology Comparison On Linfen Dialect, Taiyuan Dialect And Xi'an Dialect

Linfen (Shanxi Province) is located in the transition zone of Jin dialect area and Zhongyuan Mandarin area. Its dialect had shown a significant feature of transition in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. Within this paper, several study methods are used as the combination of description and exlanation, theory and reality, comparison and analysis. Selecting Taiyuan dialect in Binzhou zone of Jin dialect area, Linfen dialect in Fenhe river zone of Zhongyuan Mandarin area and Xi'an dialect in Guanzhong Zone of Zhongyuan Mandarin area, according to the existing research results of dialect's grammar, this paper makes synchronic comparison in Morphology, focusing on the "Ge" prefix words, reduplication, and pronouns. In order to understand the similarities and differences between the Jin Language and Zhongyuan Mandarin, also the interactive influence of these two languages in Linfen dialect, it tends to collate and analyze the Linfen dialect, Taiyuan dialect and Xi'an dialect to reach the purpose.By comparison of morphology, this paper will provide new materials on vocabulary and grammar for research on the intrinsic relationship and interaction between Jin Language and Zhongyuan Mandarin. In addition,this can offer theoretical foundation for region division on the basis of dialect in this area.
