A Study On Yunnan Chuxiong Mountainou Area Economy In Earlier Qing Dynasty

This paper take Yunnan Chuxiong mountainous area economic development as object of study in earlier Qing Dynasty, the research methods is based on theory of history and combined with the theory of economics, analyze the mountainous economic in the process of historical development. By the description of the development of Primary Industry, Secondary industry, Tertiary Industry, it could summing up the mountainous area economic development, and reveal the characteristics and rules.First, define the region time to study, and the concept of mountain areas of the economy; Second, a brief introduction of the resource situations which is respectively from agriculture, mining and metallurgical industry, business and and so on. Finally, to sum up the characteristics and some of my immature view about development issues.In this age, population has increased greatly, this provide a solid support to the economic development of mountain regions. In agriculture, the the native place resident development a variety of mountain use harmonious with local conditions and local environment; Meanwhile, people from outside areas excessive commercial use of the mountain, although can get quick results in a short time, but are mostly negative impact on the local mountainous economy in the long run. In mining and metallurgical industry, there are large-scale of salt, metal mining and metallurgical industry, but most of the benefits of these industries is enjoyed by official and the merchants outside, and local residents can just provide some of ancillary services industry, the participating degree is low. On the business side, a higher proportion of merchants outside who would go home after take the profits, this kind of pattern causes this region to be very difficult to form the commercial accumulation. In brief, the economy has made the big progress, but the native place resident participating degree is low and unable to share the development achievement, causes the economic can not sustainable development.
