In traditional society, women were affiliated to men and their consciousness was diluted too. Women's value was only reflected in reproduction, their wisdom and courage were confined to families, other social functions were ignored too. So the old thinking "the women nothing are morals just now" seems to be the everlasting truth. Ignorance, no desire, inabilities are female role positioning. In a sense, women's history is a family history, because in the patriarchal society, women suffered from men's oppression and discrimination, which happened in families. It is because of this inseparable relationship between women and their families that family life was so concerned and favored by women writers and become the subject of their creation.Wang Hailing, a military writer, is known as the first writer of marriage and also known as a feminist writer of marriage. She has a sensitive heart, and with her exquisite, rational and sharp strokes she discussed Chinese marriage and emotional problems since China's Reform and Opening up. She thinks that marriage and family are the main materials to reflect the society. She always stands on the position of realism and selects the ordinary people and their marriage, besides she pays attention to women's mental health and living condition from different angles to shape different typical female image in marriage family life.The thesis is mainly divided into four parts. The introduction part mainly tells us Wang Hailing's works in recent years and also the current relative research, besides it generalizes the angle of this thesis, the research significance and also the research methods. The first chapter carefully analyzed the image of the women constructed by the author. Those female image are not only the author's refining of the unique "Chinese" women in the real life, but also interpret the concept in the author's deep heart to a certain extent, which fully express the author's pursuit of ideal and cultural psychology. The second chapter analyzed female consciousness reflected in Wang Hailing's works in detail from two aspects, which are the loss of female subject consciousness and also the return of it. For example the female in "Besieged City", their difficult growing process form the persistent attachment, confusing struggle and self-realization to rising scream. The third chapter is self-venting and hidden, which points out that the author herself is deeply influenced by the experiences of marriage and individual life experience factors. Based on those the author has a profound understanding of the contemporary intellectual female, besides the author explores and deepens the female's consciousness with a cold look at modern marriage life and women's happiness.
