| Implicit learning describes a situation where a person acquires knowledge of covariations in the environment without explicit intention of learning, without awareness of the learning process and knowledge of what has been learned. In the research, real materials were used to explore implicit learning and some affecting factors in middle school chemistry learning. There were two experiments in the research, for organic chemistry learning and inorganic chemistry learning. Both the two experiments were about atomic bonding rules. Experiment 1 explored effecting of Learning Styles(implicit learning, explicit learning) on academical achievement. There were two learning materials generated by the same rules, and displayed in different forms. On the purpose of finding a more appropriate display form, and investigate the abstract of implicit learning. Experiment 2 designed three different stages of explicit tasks, including memory task, task guiding the subjects close to the rules and task unrelated to rules, to explore the effecting of task in organic chemistry implicit learning. The results of experiments indicate that:(1) Implicit learning exist in both organic chemistry learning and inorganic chemistry learning.(2) Performance of students who under implicit learning were better than students under explicit learning. No significant effect could observed in Learning Styles.(3) Performance of participated were influenced by the surface structure of materials. Material which made rules approached easier is better than the more difficulty one.(4) Different tasks cause different influence about implicit learning. Students instructed to memorize the molecules get better performance than students who were asked to count in molecule, even though the task predicted to cue the students' attention to the rule.(5) While the abstracting of rule was hold-up, implicit learning could be observed basing on molecule only, but if the rule wasn't hold-up, students could get better performance, that means different kinds of mechanism may exist in the process of implicit learning. |
