A Study On The Phonetics Of Wujiang Dialect

The thesis describes the phonetics situation of Luxu dialect, mainly about the initia,final and tone,etc. Around it in dealing with the historical strata,we use the other dialect in Wujiang such as Lili dialect,Shengze dialect,Songling dialect and other dialects out of Wujiang such as Suzhou,Shanghai,Changzhou,Wuxi dialects and so on,and even using the Tongtai dialect and the South Wu dialect. This paper bases on the author's mother tongue—Luxu dialect of Wujiang as the main described object,and adopts modern scientific methods,tries to give a horizontal and vertical analysis.So we will have a concrete and complete cognition.This thesis has three chapters,which outline is following:Chapter One introduces the geographical,historical conditions and an overview of previous studies of Luxu and the Wujiang dialect briefly.Therefore,we will have a comprehension in substance.Chapter Two analyses the phonological system of Luxu dialect of Wujiang.It describes its phonology,including the initial system,the final system,the tone system and the relationships between these three parts,etc.Thus,we will have a complete comprehension on the Luxu dialect.Chapter Three analyses the historical strata of Luxu dialect.As one of the Wu dialect,it has historical strata. We choose the Xie She(摄) group as a start of our research,the purpose is to restore the rambling situation.
