A Historical Strata Study Of Initial Consonant In Minnan Dialect

The purpose of this study is through the five dialect initials readingto explore their Complicated historical stratas.We know that the literaryreading and colloquial are two different levels，however they have theirown stratas.In order to explore the historical levels of initial consonant,accurately describing linguistic phenomenon, further comparativeanalysis of the language materials, this thesis mainly adopts a methodsthat put description and theory, induction and deduction combinedmaterials, synchronic analysis and diachronic comparison combinedresearch methods.Discussion on Minnan dialect history level mainlyconcentrated in the voiced initials, have been relatively decentralized.According to the initial consonant system five Minnan dialect pointreading types, respectively, for their literary reading and colloquialreading of system level. This paper has in detail on the xin, xie, sheng,shu, chan initial consonants in Minnan dialect division and its historicallevels.
