The Study On The Relationship Among Children's Parental Psychological Control, Relational Aggression And Behavior Problems

Parental psychological control is parent imposing their intention of control on the development of their children's psychological and feeling when they communicate with eaeh other. Western research has demonstrated that parental psychological control and children's behavior problems are related. However, rarely has home researchers pay attention the relation between parental psychological control and children's behavior problems. In recent years, relational aggression has become a new hot in the field of psychology . Many researches had demonstrated that children's overt aggression and behavior problems were related. Since relational aggression is different from overt aggression, maybe the relations between relational aggression and behavior problems are different from that between overt aggression and behavior problems. So the study investgated children's parental psychological control and relational aggression, and investgated the relations between between them and behavior problems.The paper investigated 583 elementary children, from the third grade to the sixth grade.The study used CPPCS,CMPCS,Class Play and SDQ which revised by the paper's writer to investigate children's parental psychological control, relational aggression, behavior problems. Use the difference test,correlation analysis and regression analysis to analyze the outcome.The results were as follows:1 Children's patneral psychological control had significant differences between urban and rural,genders, grades. Matneral psychological control had significant differences in grades.2 Children's relational aggression had significant differences between urban and rural,genders, grades.3 Children's behavior problems had significant differences between urban and rural, grades.4 All factors of parental psychological control were significantly correlated with most factors and scores of children's behavior problems。5 The regression analysis on parental psychological control affect children's behavior problem showed that some parental psychological control factors can better predict children's behavior problems.6 Children's relational aggression were significantly correlated with emotional problems and Peer problems, the factors of behavior problems. The regression analysis showed that relational aggression can better predict children's emotional problems.
