"Concept"and"Form"are two important elements evolved in the art creation field that belong to the invisible and visible lays separately. This text aims at discussing some questions below: Is there have the trace to find the artist's idea in the process of the creation; Which aspect of an art work will firstly catch our attention when we talk about it; Why there appears the phenomenon of"misunderstand"; at the same time, I want to extend some questions to connect the traditional culture and the contemporary art creation; how to extend the spirit of cultural life in contemporary art creation. This article want to introduce the Japanese artist YU-ICHI (1916——1985) and his series of works named Poor, and analyze his concept of think and how to break through the fence of tradition and response to his era and the source of form in his works vertically; at the same time, I put the works of Franz Kline to compare with Yuichi horizontally to discuss the upper questions.At last,combine my research experience in YU-ICHI'works with my sculpture works in research callkigraphy . To discuss howI to expand the research of calligraphy in contemproray art, and into MULT-DIMENSIONAL development possibilitis, I hope to touch the essence of artistic creation.
