Lu Town Space-time Body As Aesthetic Form

Proceed with "close reading ", laying particular emphasis on Luxun's native soil novel "form" containing cultural intension, social cultural order and cultural meaning of the image, it is a main task of my thesis.The thesis, to the typical environment in Luxun's native soil novels -"Lu town", makes sociological analysis of meaning, and proves that cultural community background of Luxun's native soil novels should be China town but not village. Luxun's native soil stories with "Lu town" are such China social "town stories" in which background based on traditional town instead of countryside. The thesis thinks that this is accurate sociological background and analysing foundation of Luxun's novel study. Examining from this "background" closely, narrating time, space and characters of novels, this thesis obtains meaning of another kind finding everything is fresh and new at art. This is content of the first part of this thesis.Regarding "Lu town" as one concept of "literature space-time body", we find culture and historical social intension of the space-time body. Second part focuses on two questions of thesis -Space form and time form of "Lu town". In the Luxun's native soil novels, "restaurant", "teahouse" and "sitting room of gentry" carried on cultural sociology and narrated analysis of respect. These "public space" are the" background" key elements that Luxun planned elaborately and conceived, determining image activities and concreting "historical and realistic linguistic context" of thinking. To some extent, they can even be viewed as a kind of "town aesthetics". In investigation of another question, this thesis finds three kinds of time forms of Luxun's native soil novels: One from "Lu town", one from "Lu town alien", and one from "creative subject". Form's cross and conflict demonstrates that Luxun's artistic ability of imagining, complexity and contradiction of the thought.There are two kinds main images, "Lu town people "and "Lu town alien", becomingmain "carriers" of the time forms among Luxuris native soil novels. There is most utility of analysing at the two relations such as civilization and ignorance, besiege and burst, etc. However, it is "time form" of creating the subject that pays close attention to most. It is Luxun that understanded and assured the form of two kinds space-time bodies.Then, how are "people" in the space-time body? This thesis makes corresponding analysis about characters in Luxun's native soil novels. This is main content of the third part of thesis. Thesis lays particular emphasis on important form and cultural structure function of "gentry" images among Luxun's novels, because they are not only town elite of society but also Luxun's native soil novels' "ruler" roles.In brief, there are three stresses on my thesis:First, study angle from "form", elucidate and publish Luxun's native soil novels' cultural intension and structure of novel innovation, establish the form value of Luxun's native soil novels' text.Second, explain and prove Luxun's native soil novels' town culture background, offer sociological studying foundation for Luxun's native soil novels.Third, from sociology, narrate study, science of cultural sociology aspects, make the new explanation to Luxun's classical works.
