Modern Technology Research Of Application In Public Art

with the progress and development of science and technology in our modern society, The combination of public art development and technology is increasingly close. The traditional forms have been difficult to satisfy spiritual need of people. The combination of science and art makes the human thought performance continuous sublimation and causes them to head for newer realm. In the future development of public art road ,modern technology will play an important role . Making clear the relationship between them will be greatly useful in future public art creativity and development and the artistic practice. Seeking the both combination is the human eternal pursuit. This paper is based on my professional. From the shelf sculpture research to environmental sculpture, urban sculpture research to device, through my artistic practice and visiting various sorts of exhibitions, Especially visiting the 2010 Shanghai world expo and Hangzhou features street Zhongshan road renovation project, in this process, I will study public art development present situation and future public art development and innovation road. And what's more, this paper analyzes modern technology and public art, the relationship and its influence, analyzes many examples ---successful, failure, and finally puts toward two combinations, namely the combining of artistic language and technological means, artistic spirit and modern technology spirit.
