The exhibition industry, which is well-known as the "smokeless industry", "bread of the city" and "the window connected with the world", is regarded as one of the most significant element of the creativity industries because of the strong effect driven by it. In western developed countries, the exhibition industry has endured hundreds of years and entered into the mature stage. In contrast, the rapid development of exhibition industry in China did not embark until 20C90s, with the annual rate of 20%. Entering into 21st century, new media art with digital has played an inevitable and essential role of modern exhibition industry. With the application of the means of advanced digital and transmission, the World Expo might offer a visual and cultural feast. The traditional showcase such as static, object, pictures has been unable attract the attention of the public. Therefore, in order to develop Chinese exhibition industry and improve the level of exhibition, it seems we should start from Shanghai World Expo and we should also insight the evolutionary changes in four aspects, which consists of human transmission, covering language communication, text communication, electronic communication and network communication. Besides following the historical trend, make combination of advanced media technology and exhibition industry, so as to meet the long-term development of mankind better.This paper is integrated with new thoughts in management, as well as discusses how exhibition industry can in well combination with economics theory, motion theory, public relations, advertising and other disciplines. Promoting the scientific development of exhibition industry and enhancing the core competitiveness, with a completely new way of thinking. The main research methods in this paper include statistical analysis, system dynamics research, and compare deduce analysis. The paper is divided into four parts:Chapter one:Introduction; this part simply summarizes the background and significance of the research, besides puts forward the main ideas and research method.Chapter two:viewing from the angle of economics and dynamic perspective, this part analysis the application of new digital media art in art exhibition design.Chapter three:this part analyses how the usage of new digital media can be operated in exhibition design with various forms in detail, including digital broadcasting, digital advertising, digital TV, digital publishing and the prediction of new digital media in exhibition industry.Chapter four:this part further discusses about current applications, difficulties and proposes solutions of addressing the problems.In conclusion, this paper summarizes the innovative ideas of new digital media in exhibition design and put forwards the trend of digital media art in exhibition in the future. The research content above has a reference to the development of exhibition industry in China in the following days, to some degree.
