A Study On Modern Chinese About Modality Expression "You(Have)+N " Structure

In modern Chinese.there are a lot of"you(have)+N。。structure,the meaningwhich expressed is also very extensive.With the constant development of language some"you have)+N"structure in the context begin tO express some kind of subjective approach,behave as a modality expression.In this paper,we define this modalityexpression''you(havel+N"structure as the research object , quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis methods are carried out for the use of multi—angle investigation,and Cognitive Linguistics,Grammaticalization are used for finding its reasons of forming as well.Firstly,according to analyzing and arranging considerable quantities of language material.isolate part of"you(have)+N"structure as a class of modality expressions, establish a"you(have,+N"standard sentence structure of modality expression , summarize the"you(have)+N"structure'S construction and meaningful features , then analyze its intemal components.Secondly.under the guidance of Cognitive Linguistics and Grammaticalization, reanalysis,structure analogizing,metonymy and pragmatics theory are considered tO be the origin of"you(have,+N"structure'S modal meaning.Finally.we classify"you(have)+N"structure from two angles… surface meaning type and semantic point.At the same time,observe the effect when it combines with the modal verb:When the order and meaning are in line with requirements,they enhance the expression of modal meaning from different angles.However,conflict and redundancy occurs when the order is in chaos or the significance repeats.
