The Dissemination Of Socialist Ideological Trend In Hunan Around The May 4^th (1898-1924)

During the late 19^th century and the 1920s was the transformation period from traditional society to modem society and it was an important time for Hunan.At the beginning of the 20th century,some people have translated some ideological trend of socialism works in Hunan,including the Marxist scientific socialism theories.In a certain sense,it can be said that the form and spread of a kind of social ideological trend was the reflection of the social changes and the socialist ideological trend promoted social change.The research object in this paper is the spread of the socialist ideological trend in modern Hunan from 1898 to 1924.This paper against the background of modern China and modern Hunan social transformation as well as the May 4^th new culture movement.On the basis of research achievements of the past,this paper will introduce the initial spread of socialist ideological trend,the propagation process and influence,characteristics and significance a comprehensive in detail.And then it reveals the interactive relationship between spread of socialist ideological trend and the social change in morden Hunan change.The socialist ideological trend in modern Hunan was gradually spreaded and formed social movement,and itself was influenced by the October revolution and Hunan rapid changes of social environment and the May 4^th new culture movement.The period of the May 4^th was the most active period for the spread of the socialist ideological trend in Hunan.This phenomenon had close relationship with Xinmin lnstitute members′exploration of Mao Zedong and Cai Hesen.The other factor of this phenomenon was the active introduction of Da Gong bao etc.Around the May 4^th,the interweave and collision and conflict of the alternation between new ideas and the old made many changes in Hunan society.This laid the foundation for the spread of new ideas in Hunan.The author think that it have extremely close relations among socialist ideological trends,modern Hunan social atmosphere,political reform,social life,economic development,cultural evolution and thoughts innovation etc. The socialist ideological trends enlightened peoples′thought,promoted the revolutionary movement and promoted to the deepening of morden Hunan metabolism.
