The Change And Communication Value Of The Hero Image In Chinese TV Serials Of Military Themes

Military television series is very important in Chinese television production, in which the hero images is very noticeable. Since the founding of the RPC in 1949, TV people have created a lot of heroes with time characteristic in different period under the background of historical process. Through the communication of the heroes and their stories, patriotism and heroism were broadly broadcasted.Taking the change of the hero images in military TV series as the target, this thesis analyzed its feature by comparison, and grasped its pathway and concluded its communication value; concerned its disadvantage and found some tactics so as to provide some reference for the producing more valuable military TV series.This paper consists of three sections:The first: By taking the developing process of military TV series as the clue, this part traced back to the prime perfect hero images and analyzed its origin; By comparing to the perfect hero images, concluded the feature of the military TV series'change, and illustrated it in four aspects: the return of humanity; the expanding of range; the change of focus; the transition of era.The second: This part analyzed the reason of the hero images'change which composed of five aspects: 1. Main ideology communication's needs; 2. Social communication environment has changed; 3. Audience's needs; 4. Political reason; 5. Television inspection system has loosed.The third: This is the important part of this thesis, it contains three levels:1.by analyzing the communication value of hero images'change, this part deeply illustrated the effect and influence of the change on politic, culture and art;2.Sorted the current situation of the hero images creating and concluded its shortage;3.In view of the shortage of hero creating and how to advance the hero images communication, provided some suggestion for enhancing the value of hero images in military TV series.
